Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Stedra. We've kept them short and written them to be read. Using Stedra means you agree to them.
The service
Stedra helps businesses and their advisors map, score, monitor and fix the ownership of the digital assets they run on. During the beta, the service is provided free of charge. When paid plans are introduced: nothing will auto-charge (we hold no payment card), you'll get at least 30 days' notice, and continuing will be an explicit choice.
Your account
- You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your Stedra login secure.
- Workspace owners control who has access to their workspace, including staff and client users they invite.
- You must be authorized to act for the business whose workspace you operate.
Acceptable use
- Scan only domains you have a legitimate interest in — your own business, a client you serve, or a prospect you're advising. The scan reads public records, but bulk, automated, or harassing use is prohibited and we rate-limit and block it.
- Don't attempt to access other workspaces' data, probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission, or use Stedra to violate any law.
- Don't store credentials (passwords, API keys) in Stedra's fields — the product is designed not to hold them.
Your data
Your register data belongs to you. You can export it at any time and request deletion (see the Privacy Policy). Partner firms are responsible for their own engagement terms with their clients; Stedra provides the tooling, not the professional advice.
What Stedra is not
- Not legal, insurance, or professional advice. Scores, findings, and playbooks are informational tools. Recovery procedures reference third-party platforms whose processes can change without notice — verify against the provider's current documentation before acting on anything critical.
- Not a guarantee. Discovery reads public records and your answers; it can miss assets, and monitoring can miss changes. Stedra reduces risk; it doesn't eliminate it.
Beta service, warranties, liability
The beta is provided "as is," without warranties, and may change, break, or be interrupted while we build. We work hard to protect your data (see Security), but to the maximum extent permitted by law, Stedra's liability arising from the use of a free beta service is limited to the amount you've paid for it — which, during beta, is zero. Where law grants you rights that can't be limited, those rights stand.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Stedra and request deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate the acceptable-use rules; where practical we'll warn first, and data export remains available in either case.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, we'll note it here and email account holders. Questions: hello@stedra.io.
